Who We Are

Nexus AI Advisory was founded on a straightforward belief: AI work needs more than technical expertise. It needs research, strategic thinking, operational experience, attention to ethics and compliance, and practical experience of changing how a business runs.

Some firms offer academic theory, and some offer consulting only. This team brings PhD-level AI research, the AI Maturity Matrix and Value Bridge Framework, multinational operations experience, European data governance work, and 25+ years of business scaling experience.

Research: 400+ scientific publications and 40+ international R&D projects (Prof. Fakotakis' work) are part of the background for the strategies

Dr. Ioannis Syrigos

Dr. Syrigos founded Nexus AI Advisory and leads its strategic consulting practice. He has spent over 30 years in AI, with advanced degrees in engineering, artificial intelligence, and management, and more than a decade as a university lecturer and serial entrepreneur. He helps C-suite executives take AI from research to enterprise deployment, and keeps each recommendation technically sound and commercially viable.

Prof. Nikos Fakotakis

VP of Operations & Technical Innovation Lead

Prof. Fakotakis brings four decades of AI research and practical implementation to Nexus AI Advisory, where he leads technical innovation. He co-founded one of Greece's first AI companies, has more than 400 scientific publications, and has led 40+ European and international R&D projects in natural language processing, machine learning, and intelligent systems. He grounds recommendations in established methods rather than hype, vendor promises, or untested technology.

Dimitris Vrachnos

Strategic Growth & Business Development Advisor

Dimitris has more than 25 years of business transformation experience across Europe, including leadership roles at Allergan and L'Oréal. He founded UpMyBusiness, is a business coach, and has worked with organizations from startups to established enterprises. A board member at French Tech Dublin and NeuraModal, and part of the Media Cube incubator at IADT, he leads business development and strategic growth at Nexus AI Advisory. He works in English, French, and Japanese.

Athanasios (Sakis) Serafeim

Sakis makes sure an offer can be delivered. A business owner and managing director with more than 20 years in dental production and hospitality, he has run Architooth Dental Laboratory in Thessaloniki since 2009, where he introduced digital CAD/CAM workflows, and founded and ran a delicatessen and wine bar in Thessaloniki from 2020 to 2023. At NEXUS he owns client commercial relationships.

Lucie Loiseau

Data Governance & AI Ethics Advisor

GDPR & EU AI Act Specialist • Board Member, French Tech Dublin & NeuraModal • IAPP Member

Lucie leads data governance and ethical AI at Nexus AI Advisory. Across Ireland, France, Sweden, and broader Europe, she uses her Know Your Data (KYD) method to check data readiness, find compliance gaps, and build systems that meet GDPR, the EU AI Act, and international standards. She has taught at business schools and universities and has worked with startups and corporate teams.
